I think this is your best photograph so far. Everything from the placement of the shoes near the on-its-side-skateboard, to the desaturation, to the simple title contributes to a certain mood/feeling that this photograph successfully conveys. To me, the mood is a gritty, down-to-earth one, which is carried nicely by the B&W. The feeling is a primal desire for action via skateboarding.
Opinions will still vary, of course. I think this photograph is a little too bright, as are most of your photographs (excluding "American Classics). If I had my way with this photo, I might have tried one of three methods to make the shadows darker:
1. increase contrast and/or decrease brightness
2. curves; you know how to work them
3. selective colors; increasing the "black level" in the white, neutral, and black hues
I also may have tried manually imitating a sepia filter to make the final product appear in slight shades of brown, rather than in shades of gray, as it does currently. My old Canon S50 had a mode in which it would convert the colors to a very attractive-looking sepia for its user. My new Canon Digital Rebel, and your Fuji don't have such a feature, to my knowledge. Thus, the photographer has to change the colors to his/her liking in photoshop to achieve the sepia effect.
Nevertheless, I maintain that this is your best photograph so far, in my opinion. Keep up the effort, and the results will continue to come.

thanks for the favorite. i personally always thought this was one of better deviations of my older ones, but it didn't seem like anybody else liked it too much.
